Vertical Rush

Wow. Yesterday I spent the whole day working on Vertical Rush, Britain's first official tower running event up Tower 42. It was such a buzz being a part of the event with over 600 runners taking part and Shelter raising over 100,000 pounds for work with housing and homelessness in the UK.

To read more, here are some links to news, an early video report, photos, and press leading up to the event.

  1. Did you take those photos? Did you run up to the top as well? How tall is the tower?

  2. The tower is 183 metres tall (or 920 steps). I didn't take these photos - these were taken by the press photographers at the event. And no - I didn't run up. But maybe next year.
