Ben Nevis: The highest mountain in the UK. It is in Scotland, near the town of Fort William. The summit is 1,344 metres above sea level. At the top there is also the ruins of an observatory which was permanently staffed between 1883 and 1904.Status : CLIMBED 20/8/09
