80. Go to the Edinburgh Festival

I've fallen a tad behind with my posting so will try and catch up during this week. There are quite a few 101's which I've been able to complete over the past several weeks....

Each year in August, Edinburgh plays host to one of the largest arts festivals in the world – the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and at the same time hosting the Edinburgh International Festival and the Edinburgh International Book Festival. With something for everyone, there is theatre to see, comedy to laugh at, music to listen to and dance to enjoy. The city is heaving with masses of crowds from all over the globe.

The best thing about the Edinburgh Festival is being able to open the program and just pick and see whatever you feel like at that time. Shows start from 10am and finish in the early hours so there’s never a dull moment. Our two days there saw us see a little bit of acting, a little bit of comedy and a little bit of dance. Best value tip for people who want to see everything is to get to the Festival the first week it opens as there are plenty of 2-for-1 shows.
